Spillman is an independent photographer based in central Texas. His career began as a staff photojournalist for mid-market daily newspapers across the state of Texas covering everything from house fires to professional sports. Eventually ending up in Austin working primarily with news outlets and universities across America documenting the many athletic opportunities in Texas. Spillman has been honored with recognition from Houston Press Club, Texas Associated Press Managing Editors, and the Associated Press.

 

Clients include University of Texas, Associated Press, Austin-American-Statesman, Dallas Morning News, San Antonio Express-News, and Los Angeles Times.
